Today, the presentation ceremony of the children's book "Green Knowledge for Children" was held at the Baku Higher Oil School (BANM). The author of the book is Liya Bayramova, the CEO and co-founder of GEM CSR and ESG Consulting, as well as the Energy Globe Award Azerbaijan winner.

The event was attended by 50 students, teaching staff, and invited guests.

In her opening speech, Liya Bayramova emphasized the importance of environmental education from an early age. She encouraged the students to share their knowledge about ecology and the environment with their families and friends, becoming "environmental ambassadors."

Kamala Ashumova, the head of the "Hopeful Future" Public Union and holder of the Tərəqqi Medal, also spoke at the event, highlighting that every child has the right to live in a clean and safe environment. She stressed the importance of proper water usage and the protection of green spaces.

In turn, Hafiza Imanova, a scientific researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of ANAS, praised the scientific and content significance of the book, describing it as one of the most important ecological works published in the Azerbaijani language. She also mentioned that the publication could receive high recognition at the international level.

Rashad Ibrahimov, founder of the PMO.az project think tank and international expert, emphasized the interest of modern youth in sustainable development. "Such books not only teach but also inspire. Today's schoolchildren are tomorrow's innovators and guardians of nature," he noted.

At the end of the event, BANM teacher Zaur Balaqadaşov thanked the participants and expressed gratitude to the author for her valuable contribution to shaping the environmental worldview of the students.

The presentation ceremony concluded with a book signing session by the author for the students.
