As you know, Ümidli Gələcək Sosial Təşəbbüslər İctimai Birliyi (Hopeful Future Social Initiatives Public Union), in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, implements the project titled "Strengthening National Systems for the Effective Prevention of Violence Against Children and Responding to Incidents" under the Juvenile Justice Center, which is part of the organization's social services.

This project focuses on providing social-psychological rehabilitation and legal aid to minors held in Penitentiary Service’s Correctional Institutions and Investigation Detention Centers, as well as those under the Probation Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Department's preventive register. Additionally, it involves working with children at risk who have been referred by Juvenile Prevention and Protection Centers under local executive authorities.

This project is also being implemented in parallel in Lankaran, Ganja, and Agjabadi cities, with similar centers operating there.

As part of the activities, Ümidli Gələcək Sosial Təşəbbüslər İctimai Birliyi organized visits to Ganja city for the supervision of projects implemented by SOS Children’s Villages – Azerbaijan and GTM – Karabakh Regional Office in Agjabadi.

The main goal of these supervision visits is to evaluate the performance of newly established centers, hold discussions on staff development, search for joint solutions to difficult cases, and arrange meetings with relevant families.
